1Turn it inside out
Socks are knitted with two types of yarn: the outer yarn and the inner yarn. Protein stains from skin and keratin tend to get tangled in the inner yarn and adhere to it. Tangled stains are difficult to remove with detergent alone, so it is effective to turn the socks inside out and scrub them. Washing the socks inside out prevents bacteria that can develop from protein stains and unpleasant odors. Turning the socks inside out also protects the outer yarn, which is made of natural fibers, from wear and tear due to friction.
2Hand wash or gentle mode
Hand washing is best, but if you don't have time, put it in a laundry net and put it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. Don't forget to set it to the gentle cycle or delicate cycle. Use a neutral detergent.
3Dry in the shade with the opening facing up
To prevent deterioration of the rubber, place the opening and rubber part on top. You can also hang them inside out. To prevent damage to the fabric and deterioration of the rubber, we recommend drying them in the shade and naturally out of direct sunlight. After drying, do not leave them lying around, but store them in a storage case or similar.
*Alpaca wool
is a particularly delicate material, so be sure to use a neutral detergent and air dry. Do not tumble dry.
