Destroy All Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated. A Magic: The Gathering Manga, Vol. 4 by Katsura Ise

Set in the 1990s at Tokiwagi Middle School, this manga follows Hajime Kano and the early days of Magic: The Gathering, a trading card game that changes life for Hajime and the other gamers around him.

In Volume 4, it is winter in 1998, and the prophesied “end of the world” looms alongside the cold weather. After an intense game of Magic: The Gathering with his best friend Kurushima, Hajime makes a promise he intends to keep: they will meet at one of the biggest tournaments in Kyoto. When Emi becomes upset with Hajime at karaoke, he finds himself weathering more than the winter cold.
