Shaped from ultra-light Pertex® Shield Air, a three-layer recycled nano-ripstop from Japan. Water-resistant and highly breathable. The membrane’s open nanofiber web lets air circulate while keeping wet conditions out. Protection and ventilation.

Seam-taped construction ensures full waterproof integrity. PFC-free DWR finish repels surface moisture and sheds persistent drizzle.

Lightweight structure with mechanical stretch for comfort in motion. Flexible brim to deflect rain without limiting vision.

Usage Our Pertex® 3L Rain Cap is specifically designed for pursuits in challenging conditions, constructed entirely of Pertex® Shield Air. With its back adjustable bungee, it can be easily pulled on or packed down into your pocket.

A Japanese-developed nano-ripstop built for movement through weather. Its electrospun membrane forms an open network of microscopic pores, impermeable to wet conditions yet permeable to air and vapor. Durably water resistant (14 000 mm Schmerber) and highly breathable (20 000 g/m²/day MVTR) with a PFC-free DWR finish. Lightweight, tear-resistant, and stretchable, adapting to intensity and terrain without losing form.
