A collaboration between Chelsea Wolf and Heretic Parfum, The Veil approaches a threshold not as a barrier, but as a sensory condition — the softening of perception, a change in the air, a thinning of certainty.

Across cultures and eras, the veil has been used to describe the boundary between worlds. In ancient ritual, in mourning practices, and in spiritual cosmologies, it marks a space that is permeable and unstable — a place where one state begins to dissolve before another fully arrives. Edges blur. Distance becomes difficult to measure. What remains is the sensation of being between, held in suspension.

At the core is a constellation of musks that echo the warmth and intimacy of skin. Orris butter introduces a powdery stillness, while vetiver, Atlas cedarwood, and patchouli provide a grounding current beneath the sheer luminosity above.
