Blue Oyster - Mushroom Growing Kit
Blue Oyster mushrooms were first documented in 1775 by Nikolaus Joseph Freiherr von Jacquin, a Dutch scientist who studied medicine, chemistry, and botany and traveled the world gathering samples and specimens of his discoveries.
Relish the unique flavor, a delightful taste halfway between chicken and crab - A maritime-meets-poultry festive delicacy that's fun to grow and wonderful to cook. They've got a great, dense texture that makes them a versatile choice for many dishes, and are equally wonderful sauteed in butter with nothing but a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
They're easy to grow (start them on a bag of brown rice and grow them in coffee grounds or straw!) All you'll need is some brown rice and paper bandage tape - for growing in larger quantities; you'll also want either used coffee grounds or straw with no special equipment needed.
