To author Megan Skinner, high fashion is art and is one of her greatest inspirations. As a teen, Megan and her mother spent many happy afternoons looking through fashion magazines, finding favorite outfits that her mother, a seamstress, would sometimes re-create. Couture was born in celebration of the creative spirit of fashion and its ability to bring people together and elevate their spirits.
