ABOUT CASA BOSQUES

Casa Bosques Chocolate is a Mexico City and New York City–based bean-to-bar chocolate project by Rafael Prieto, founder and creative director of Savvy Studio, a design practice based in both cities. The project explores the history, methods, origins, and culture of chocolate.

Casa Bosques sources heirloom cacao from small ranches throughout Mexico and Latin America, maintaining close involvement at every stage of production. Its approach includes sourcing some of the world’s rarest cacao and celebrating single-origin heritage and wild-grown varietals with minimal processing. Its single-origin chocolates highlight the terroir and distinctive character of their cacao sources. The brand’s chocolates contain no emulsifiers, artificial flavorings, or preservatives.
